Summer Camp

Summer Camp 2010 - "Digging Deeper" will run six weeks from July 12th through August 20th. Hours are from 8:00-4:00. Sign up for a single week or multiple weeks. Activities will include gardening, hiking, and visiting our local farms. Ages 3-6 welcome. Fee is $140/week with a discount for multiple children from one family. Extended Day

An Extended Day Program includes those children who stay into the afternoon. Lunch is at 12:30 (children bring their own lunch). The afternoon is child-paced, utilizing the outdoors and free play. Quiet time is from 2:30 to 3:30. The goal is to make the afternoon as home-like and relaxed as possible. Children are encouraged to initiate their own activities and imagination takes reign.

Enrichment Program

A special Enrichment Program is available for Happy Valley 5-year olds, and all other kindergarten children in the area. The program runs from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Tuesday and Thursday. The program can accommodate ten 5-year olds. The curriculum is designed to encourage child-centered discovery, cooperative effort, group problem-solving and experiential learning. Buses from Peterborough Elementary School and Greenfield may drop students at Happy Valley for this program.
